  Volunteer!  
  Make the difference in someone’s life by helping them develop the skills that will give them greater opportunities. Many Indian students with basic knowledge of English are desperate to practice the language and improve their proficiency. This access is simply not available locally. This means their skills never develop to a level where they are useable. They can read but cannot communicate to an effective level. 

Your support as a volunteer is key to their learning spoken English.

By volunteering with us you will not only help to build valuable capacity, but you will, yourself, learn and grow. Full board accommodation, an exciting and interesting team of colleagues, lots of time to explore yourself and India and the ultimate reward of seeing your students develop their confidence beyond their dreams are what we offer.

A few weeks from you will make a lifetime of difference to your students.

We do not require you to have any previous teaching experience as our program is based on conversation and simple techniques, which we will teach you, that have been developed by a leading literacy organisation. Simply enthusiasm, some bright ideas and a willingness to work with a confidence building program that helps people communicate practically is all that is required. Add to this a willingness to explore somewhere new and live for a time in the amazing state of Punjab, North India, and you should probably be asking for further information from Taruna Jindal at taruna.jindal@gmail.com or by phone on +44 751 529 8840.
